Family Game Night

Did you know that many of our youngest students miss 10% of the school year, or about 18 days? Kindergarten classes often have absenteeism rates as high as those in high school. While some of these absences are excused, they still add up to lost time in the classroom.
If children don’t show up for school regularly, they miss out on fundamental reading and math skills and the chance to feel a sense of belonging with their teachers and classmates.

November Calendar and Newsletter 🍎
Please use this calendar, the November calendar in the handbook that was sent home at the beginning of the year is wrong. There will be school November 25 & 26th.

Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school and themselves. Did you know…
📌 Students can still fall behind academically if they miss just 1 or 2 days every few weeks.
📌 Absences and tardiness can affect the whole classroom if the teacher has to slow down learning to help students catch up.
📌 Missing school impacts a student’s sense of belonging.
