Regular attendance is key to helping our little learners stay on track and thrive! 🌟 Every school day brings new lessons, friendships, and confidence. Missing days can make it tricky to catch up, so let’s work together to keep those absences low. Let’s make every day a learning adventure! 🏫💡 #ksdstudentsfirst

Our first Science Thursday was fantastic!! Students got to go inside the giant whale, compare and contrast squid and octopus, see how baleen works, create an under the sea art project and more! A huge thank you to Janel Fisher for coordinating these events for students! These days are so much fun! #makingmemories #sciencemagnetkids #cougarpride

Help your young student build relationships, establish healthy routines and safeguard early learning by focusing on regular attendance. Did you know?: Even one or two absences every two weeks can affect a young learner’s ability to gain reading and math skills and build social relationships. Helping them show up to learn is the best way to give them a solid foundation to build on.

Too many absences – excused or unexcused – can keep students from feeling a sense of belonging and ultimately succeeding in school.
Please help your child prioritize attendance this year. #ksdstudentsfirst
