After reading buddies, Ms. Ward's 2nd grade class and Mrs. Derbyshire's 4th grade class did a campus clean up. They found a few treasures, LOTS of trash and even cleaned rocks off the astroturf.

🎉 Short week, strong attendance! 🎉
With no school on Monday for MLK Day, our students still showed up in a big way and rocked their attendance this week. Way to stay engaged, stay consistent, and make every day count—even on a shortened schedule. We’re proud of you! 👏📚 #everydaycounts

Cold and flu season is here, and staying healthy helps students be present, engaged, and ready to learn. A few simple habits can make a big difference:
🧼 Wash hands often
🚰 Don’t share water bottles
😴 Get a good night’s sleep
🥗 Eat well and stay hydrated

When students take care of themselves, they’re better able to make every day count. Thank you to our families and staff for helping keep our schools healthy and our students learning!

The students that are in the photos were chosen to be the 5th grade Fish Friend Ambassadors. EXCITING NEWS!! Our fish eggs arrived on Monday afternoon, January 12th. The 5th grade students have made scientific observations and started collecting data.. Our goal is to release the fish into a local body of water sometime in the spring. The fish tank is located outside of the office, if you’d like to take a peek. FYI - This unit of study was made possible by Idaho Fish & Game, the Idaho Chapter of the American Fisheries Society, and neverending hours of work by Mrs. Fitzgerald
